I was in Penang for The Times photo-work.

On early Sunday breezy and lazy day, me walking by along Lebuh Chulia (also know as Chulia Street Penang) for my capati and I saw huge mansion stated with Persatuan Pelukis Melayu Pulau Pinang (Penang Malay Artist Association).

Without wasting time, I capture both mansion and their contact. Unfortunately they are close on Sunday. It's okay, I will be back to this place soon.

SECRET TENT DESIGN BAZAAR
In an effort to evoke a sense of fun and mystery to the KLDW 2009 project, the city of KL is set to be bombed by an array of Secret Tents, a creative space where anything goes. Each individual secret tent is expected to showcase unique works of art and design, be it from an individual, a duo or as a collective group. The wide range of displays will represent the thoughts and insights of our very own young guns, our hope for the new Malaysian Creative Economy. Si 5 Kebaya adalah kumpulan 5artis wanita Malaysia yang bergabung meluahkan ekspresi diri dan kehidupan sekitarnya melalui lukisan, kraf, teater boneka dan kanak-kanak dan filem pendek. Mereka terdiri daripada :

* Arbaayah bt. Mohamad Zain
* Nor Yusniza bt. Mohd Yusof
* Bennylita Nasuty bt. Ramlee
* Mohaida bt. Aini Mohamed
* Zabariah bt. Hitam

Tujuan Si 5 Kebaya ditubuhkan adalah untuk:

1. Memperkenalkan dan mempromosi 5 orang artis perempuan dan kumpulan seni mereka; Si 5 Kebaya secara langsung dan tidak langsung.
   
2. Mempamerkan dan menjual karya seni melalui kanvas dan kraf dengan tema cinta kepada manusia, alam serta mengimbas kembali ke alam kanak-kanak.
   
3. Mewujudkan pengumpul dan peminat seni baru dan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesedaran seni kepada masyarakat.
